Living on a farm, I am fortunate to be surrounded by nature. We have fields of corn, sheep, cattle and our hedgerows are bustling with life.
This is where I find my inspiration to draw and paint. I am an art teacher and farmer and love to paint all animals, especially hares!
To work deftly in watercolour is always a challenge and I try to capture both the look and character of my subjects, (whilst always being one brushstroke away from disaster!)
In my free time I enjoy writing and illustrating stories for young children.

I have now written a second book, "Sidney Squirrel's Secret" featuring Sidney, a very greedy squirrel, who upsets the garden birds when he steals all their nuts!
Using rhythm and rhyme I aim to create an adventure which captures the character of greedy squirrels everywhere, (and their long suffering feathered friends!)
I am currently painting the illustrations to accompany the words and have added a few to this site.
